Jamie Sorrentino is the Assistant Site Director at MindWell Ithaca and a licensed clinical social worker. He specializes in working with college-aged students, adolescents, and adults, focusing on a relational, collaborative approach that values curiosity, authenticity, and compassionate care.

Jamie integrates evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Solution-Focused Therapy. He has clinical expertise in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, romantic relationships, sexual orientation and gender identity concerns, work-life balance, and couples counseling (Gottman Method). Jamie works closely with clients to develop meaningful insights, improve coping skills, and strengthen relationships with themselves and others.
